Ok, I got the explanation: I'm definitely a stupid guy!!

My code was originally intended for running on Windows.
I was looping into processes, searching for "AcroRd", which is the name 
of the process on Windows, BUT NOT ON MAC.:-!

ProcessMBS.KillProcess works well, given that the process is correctly 
defined.
My apologies, Christian.
My apologies, Arnaud, for having made you work on what was a stupid 
error in my code.

And my apologies to all readers for annoying noise.
