Hello,

In my project, I'm embedding small movies into a bigger, longer one, and there
are gaps between them. The audio track has the original audio of each movie at
the same place (with the same gaps).
I want to add chapters around every audio piece (one marker at the start and
one at the end). I can do that manually in my audio editing application: each
marker I add there is seen as a chapter by QuickTime. The QTChapterTrackMBS has
methods to get the chapters, but not to add them (and getting them doesn't
work, as I tried, BTW; I get binary data which make no sense, even talking
about zip files…?).
The EditableMovie's AddTextTrackMBS method looks to be a good choice. The class
it adds to the movie (QTChapterDataMBS) has just one property that deals with
timing (FrameDuration). However, this is the duration of the chapter, not it's
actual position. I have been unsuccessful in finding another property or class
which let me specify a chapter (marker) to be put at a given time.
Is there something I've not understood, or something is missing?
P.S.: I'm aware it's a complex question; if it's not clear (hard to explain),
please let me know.
