Thanks for your reply.
It's exactly what I'm doing, but unfortunately, sometimes the format 
operation does not achieve (particularly with NTFS file system) and I 
don't know why. Running a second time, or formatting first in FAT32 then 
in NTFS, the format is Ok.

In my Shell command, I had /X (force dismount of volume) and I don't use 
a loop waiting for the end of the Shell. It seems to me unuseful, given 
that the Shell mode is asynchronous. It would be better to use a 
synchronous mode if it's necessary to wait for the shell to finish 
execution. What about that?

Any idea of what's happening?
