I would not mind the ! syntax but have to have the ability to filter individual tests by category. I have tests that can only be run on certain versions of MySQL so at present I run NUnit 3 times, the first time indicating that 5.0 and higher tests be exluded, the second time indicating that 5.1 and higher tests be excluded, and the final time including all tests. Make sense?

Yes, /fc is the short version of /filter-category. You can currently use this command line argument to select tests marked with a specific [FixtureCategory], I was wondering whether those looking for a way to exclude by category would be satisfied with using the ! operator instead of a separate argument? This is a feature for inclusion in version 2.4. There is a [TestCategory] attribute but there is, at present, no way to filter using it.
