This is not a high priority task for this release. It is very important to
release a stable version that people will use.

Changing the locations of so many files will be an additional work for the
package maintainers, which may delay the inclusion of the forthcoming
release into the distributions.

Unless some distributions are already patching MC for that, I'm not going
to change the location of supplementary files in 4.5.55.
