Hi! This is not a very crash-bug. If you copy 2 file from a ext2 volume into a fat partition, by default the mc program stopping the copy process because error (chown is not possible on fat filesystem); the label of total percentage transfer is reinitialized and the value is 0% (not 50%) and the total graphic indicator is reinitialized.
