Use shift key with F3/F4/F5/F6, depending on whether copy or rename, and which keys actually do as you expect. Sometimes, depending on distro and keyboard configuration, when you expect shift-F5 or shift-F6 to do what you want, you actually need shift-F3 or shift-F4.
