mc dav dev

Hi,
 
I intend to create a gtk+ webdav client.
 
But i would like to know if would be possible, instead, to integrate dav in mc.
I would like to know how technically it would be possible.
I will definitively make a dav client, but i'm not sure of the difficulty to integrate 
dav support, in your sources.
 
Please answer, so that I can start thinking of it.
