Hello, Well , I use putty and it does happen there , and also in the default win2k telnet client.

While im no developer of MC i can tell you that Putty works just perfect with ssh. Telnet is a very unsafe protocol and i think you should consider using ssh instead. What telnet client do you use in W2k btw?
