Thanks Pavel. I chose the second option and it worked wonderfully. For others using iTerm on OSX, create a terminal profile that uses utf-8 encoding instead of the default. Then create a bookmark for the EL5 system you want to connect to using 'ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED]' as the command and tell it to use the new terminal profile you created. this is how I did it and it's working perfectly for me. _______________________________________________ Mc mailing list http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/mc
