OK. It just so happens that I generate/save a lot like:- comp.lang.functional.533 which semms ok.
Decoding the 'regex-decoding' in the mc 'script' is hard work, for me. But mc seldon lets me down, except now I need to:- find the file, in dir-tree which contains the <ascii-string>; where the file does NOT have unix/DOS eol. It's got the 'other' eol. == Chris Glur.
