Hi,
I am working on the 4.7.5.2 package for cygwin.
The current cygwin package (4.6.1) is shipped with subshell disabled
as on exit (Menu F10) the subshell remains open while mc close.
The same happens on 4.7.5.2, to replicate:
$ ps ax
PID PPID PGID WINPID TTY UID STIME COMMAND
4460 1 4460 4460 ? 1006 09:52:34 /usr/bin/mintty
6140 4460 6140 452 0 1006 09:52:34 /usr/bin/bash
2196 6140 2196 1876 0 1006 10:44:14 /usr/bin/ps
$ mc
(2 times ctrl-O to activate the subshell and return)
$ ps ax
PID PPID PGID WINPID TTY UID STIME COMMAND
4460 1 4460 4460 ? 1006 09:52:34 /usr/bin/mintty
6140 4460 6140 452 0 1006 09:52:34 /usr/bin/bash
I 984 1 984 4516 0 1006 10:44:20 /usr/bin/bash
432 6140 432 5992 0 1006 10:44:29 /usr/bin/ps
Any suggestion to investigate the problem ?
