rpm -qa shows I have version 4.8.26 installed although mc -V shows "version
unknown". Searching on the internet suggests this is a known bug with respect to
unpacking archives which has been fixed in version 4.8.31.
What would be the proper procedure for requesting mc in the Rocky Linux 9 archive (RHEL
9) archive be updated to the latest version since this is a "serious" bug?
