The Clinical Research Center is looking for participants for a quick
turnaround study that involves three visits in one day (baseline visit and 3
hours between visit 2 and visit 3) for a total of 6 hours of contact lens
wear.  We will be studying fit and comfort of soft contact lenses.  Cash
compensation is $75 upon completion.

PARTICIPATE IN A SOFT CONTACT LENS STUDY New Date- FRIDAY August 19th, 2005
  
EARN $75 UPON COMPLETION OF STUDY


The U.C. Berkeley Clinical Research Center is looking for soft contact lens
wearers to participate in a contact lens study.  Participants will be asked
to come to our research center for "three visits on the same day".
Participants will be asked to wear study contact lenses during the visit,
and doctors will evaluate the fit and comfort of the lenses over a 6 hour
period.

Participants will be asked to discontinue contact lens wear 24 hours before
their appointment and come wearing their prescription glasses.  Each visit
will be about 45 to 60 minutes long.

Doctors will fit participants for study lenses after assessing their ocular
health at the first visit and have them fill out a questionnaire.  Visit 2
will be after 3 hours of lens wear. 
Participants' ocular health will be reassessed and will be asked to fill out
questionnaires. 
 After another 3 hours, participants will return again for their final 3rd
visit to be reassessed and fill out a questionnaires.

Subjects will be wearing both study lenses and their habitual spectacles
during the study.


Requirements:
*18-39 years old
*Currently wear soft contact lenses on a regular basis *Had a recent eye
exam *No evidence of eye disease or systemic illness *Must have prescription
glasses
