To all new and returning students, welcome back to school and hope that your summer was a blast. For all you new freshmen, on behalf of American Medical Student Association (AMSA) board members, I welcome all of you to Cal and AMSA. Thank you for all of you that signed up to be in our mailing list. We sure enjoyed seeing and talking with all of you during Calapalooza this past August. AMSA's first general meeting is Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 159 Mulford Hall 7:00 PM. If you're curious about what AMSA does, have questions what to do during your four years here in Berkeley as a Premed, or simply want to meet new people? Come to our first general! Come hungry, because CHEESY STIX will be provided! For all of you that are interested in becoming members, we will have applications to become an AMSA member in our first general meeting. Please note that AMSA at Berkeley is a Premedical Chapter that is nationally recognized as a part of the national American Medical Student Association. So with all that said, we hope that all of you come and check out our first general meeting. Hope to see all of you there and have a great week. Evelyn Pratama President 2005 - 2006 American Medical Student Association - Berkeley Premedical Chapter.
