She is (of course) a Cal Alum & 3rd year med student at UC Irvine. She is very interested in women's health, AIDS education & treatment, & human sexuality. Her current plans include taking a year off from med school to go to the Dominican Republic to work w/ children who are orphaned due to AIDS-related factors.
She said she'd be happy to answer questions about med school, the importance of research experiences, career ideas, or whatever for any students who can come. We'll meet in 2033 VLSB @6pm, & if a lot of you show up, we'll go upstairs to 3059 VLSB. I'll have the door wide open here to welcome you all, or signs upon it to indicate we are upstairs.
