Panel:  "Why I made the switch from a career in MEDICINE to a career 
in PUBLIC HEALTH"

A panel of public health professors/professionals who previously 
worked in medicine and then made the change to a career in public 
health will discuss their personal experiences and take questions

Professor Joyce Lashof, M.D.
Berkeley SPH's seventh dean, making her the first woman on the 
Berkeley campus to serve as dean of a professional school.

Professor Malcolm Potts, M.B, B.Chir, Ph.D.
Bixby Professor of Population and Family Planning with interests in 
AIDS prevention, family planning, safe motherhood, and biology of 
sexual behavior and human warfare.

Professor Arthur Reingold, M.D.
Infectious disease expert, Division Head of Department of 
Epidemiology, served as Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer 
for CDC.
