The lab of Dr. Antonello Bonci would like to accommodate 4 skilled
volunteers who have a strong interest in learning about drugs of abuse.
The volunteers will be aiding investigators using a rat
self-administration behavioral paradigm to understand the role of
psychostimulants, such as cocaine, in reward learning. The volunteers
will be trained to handle rats, attach rat cannulae, and operate the
self-administration chamber. Volunteers should be punctual,
self-motivated, and capable of independent work. Occasional weekend work
will be required. Prior animal handling experience would be helpful.
