Alternative Breaks

Alternative Breaks is now accepting applications
for winter and spring break participants!
Alternative Breaks is a program that allows
students to go on week-long trips to different
communities throughout the state (and in
Mississippi this spring) to do much-needed
service surrounding specific social issues such
as homelessness, poverty, environmental justice,
immigration, healthcare, and more. This is a
great opportunity to learn more about important
social issues, build leadership skills, meet
great people, get units (for spring breaks), and
really make a positive difference in the world.
We will be holding two info sessions on Tuesday
10/25 and Wednesday 10/26 both at 7:30pm in 505
Eshelman Hall. Come out to learn more, meet this
year's break leaders, and get FREE cookies!

Applications and current break descriptions are
available on the website at
http://students.berkeley.edu/osl/calcorps.asp?id=3D1094
Apps are due by Tuesday, November 1st. Please
email them to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Questions? Please send them to Erin Cooper at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
We look forward to receiving your application!
