This Fall, UC Berkeley opened the Green Room, a room which addresses how an average college student can live a more sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle by making simple choices in their everyday lives. The room is conveniently located in Putnam Hall in the Unit 1 Residence Halls. The room features products that save energy, contain less environmental contaminants or waste, use less resources, and more! This is also probably the nations first Green Room (we have yet to find another)! The last tours of the semester will be held on Friday November 18th and Friday December 2nd at 1:00pm, 1:30pm, and 2:00pm. Each tour lasts approximately 1/2 hour.
