Position Description
The Bay Area Tutoring Centers, Inc. is currently
looking for friendly, focused individuals to tutor all
levels of science at our tutoring center in San Ramon.
  Students come to see our tutors in our centers, and
we are able to offer shifts up to seven hours long.
Pay starts at $15-$17 per hour, DOE.  We have
full-time and part-time positions available; full-time
employees have the option of health insurance.
Business hours are late afternoon to evening on
weekdays, morning to evening on weekends.  We are
looking for candidates who are willing to commit to
working with us at least through the school year, but
hopefully beyond!

Qualifications
Science tutors are expected to have a thorough
understanding of and ability to teach the following:
Chemistry, Biology and/or Physics.   Prior tutoring
experience and a degree (or ongoing study towards a
degree) in the subject being taught are preferred.
Strong communications skills are needed as well as the
ability to work with high school students on a regular
weekly schedule.  All candidates will be given an
assessment test in their subject prior to
interviewing.
