Golden Key International Honour Society presents a special lecture
with Professor Steve Hinshaw on
the topic of "Families and Mental Illness."

When: Tuesday, March 21, 2005 @ 7:00pm
Where: 182 Dwinelle

This lecture is part of a series of open lectures provided by
honorary faculty members of Golden
Key. Everyone is welcome, so please spread the word and tell your
friends! This is a great
opportunity to attend a lecture by Prof. Hinshaw, who is chair of the
psychology department and
specializes in developmental psychopathology (and ADHD in
particular). It promises to be very
interesting and informative. See you there!

BERKELEY SUMMER BIOENGINEERING RESEARCH PROGRAM
Amount:  $3,000.  Participants work in campus
bioengineering lab all summer, present research;
Biotech industry tour. Project will be

JUDITH LEE STRONACH BACCALAUREATE PRIZE
Amount:  $25,000 (max.).
The prize supports intellectual and creative
pursuits that strive to advance awareness and
provide visibility for issues of social
consciousness and the public good. The award aims
to enable bright, ambitious students an
opportunity to create and complete a project that
extends and reflects upon undergraduate
coursework and research conducted at Berkeley.

undergrad. degree at UCB in December 05 or will

3. DAVID SCHOLARS PROGRAM INFORMATION SESSION - TODAY!!!

Each year, the Nathan and Violet David Scholars Program gives
talented students $18,500 and the opportunity to participate in
undergraduate research in the sciences. It is the mission of this
program to facilitate positive social change by enabling students
with promising talent, but financial need to participate in
undergraduate research, gain admission to a competitive graduate
programs, and thus have the choice to pursue scientific careers at
the highest level.
