- Real World Startup Experience - Valuable Biotech Exposure - Interaction with Former Genentech Executives Hana Biosciences, Inc., a South San Francisco based biopharmaceutical company, is pleased to provide an opportunity for UC Berkeley students to work together in teams to solve real world challenges faced by developmental stage biotech companies. This case competition gives students an opportunity to learn about the biotech industry by working through a problem that CEOs and executives face everyday: how to build their product pipelines? Students interested in careers in biotechnology, entrepreneurship, consulting, finance, or scientific related fields will experience a rewarding case study exercise. Three finalist teams will be selected to present before the executive management team of Hana Biosciences. Participants are also eligible for $2,000 in cash prizes.
