Interested in participating in a Psychology Study?
Do you attend Berkeley and are a Caucasian/European American?
If so we want your opinion!
The Culture and Emotions Lab of the Psychology
department at Stanford University is currently
conducting a study on emotions and daily
activities.
The Study consists of two 40 minute surveys
For completing the first survey you will recieve $15
and for the second one you will recieve another $25
($40 total)
Also:
A subgroup of participants will be chosen to do a
follow up survey that consists of carrying a PDA
for one week and answering questions 6 times over
the span of the week.
Participants for this additional part of the survey will recieve $75

City College of San Francisco
offers a 15 units Health Care Interpreter Certificate Program.
The next class is scheduled to start this fall.
Introduction to health care interpretation is designed for
bilingual bicultural individuals in all spoken
languages who are interested in facilitating
linguistic and cultural communication
between patients and health care providers.
Course Number: Health 80, Fall 2006
Course Number: Health 81 and Health 82, Spring 2007
Course Description: Interpreting in Health Care Settings
Interested candidates are required to
attend either of the 3-hour orientations. Prior
registration to orientation is not necessary and
seating is first-come/first served.
