DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES An invitation from Janine Giese-Davis, Ph.D. Learn about mind-body medicine, emotional expression, and psychosocial effects on cancer, while contributing real data to these important studies! Come be a part of one of the most interesting research labs on Stanford campus! We are currently recruiting for internship and volunteer positions that involve analyzing and coding the emotions and topics discussed among individuals in support groups, as well as individuals and couples having emotional discussions. Research includes randomized trials of both primary and metastatic breast cancer support groups, women with breast cancer talking about self-conscious emotions, a study of peer counselors, and a study of marital interactions. * Great for Human Biology, Pre-Med and Psychology students, but all majors welcome! * Interested in working toward an Honors Thesis? Come learn about research opportunities! * Heading toward medical school?
