I am a graduate student in bioengineering at UC Berkeley
conducting research at Childrenís Hospital of Oakland
Research Institute (2 miles from campus). I am looking for
an undergraduate volunteer to carry out research that
relates to lipoproteins, drug delivery, and cancer cells.
Students must be highly motivated. While students who
have completed applicable courses in biology are preferred
(introductory biology, biochemistry, cell biology), this
is not a strict requirement.

I require a commitment of 10-15 hours a week of research
during the school year and a minimum of 20 hours a week in
the summer. Students need to commit a minimum of one year
to the research project (two semesters and a summer).
Students have the opportunity to acquire research units
at UC Berkeley during the school year. For the summer,
students will have the opportunity to apply for summer
funding. Interested students should send information
(contact information, previous lab and work experience,
unofficial college transcripts, and extracurricular
activities) as a word document to Mina Nikanjam at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with ìCHORI Undergraduate Research
Positionî in the subject line.
