about the date of our graduation ceremony for spring. We hope to have
this for you by the end of September, but we are waiting for Cal
Performances, which manages the Greek Theater, to let us know and since
they manage a large percentage of the campus's ceremonies, we can't rush
them.

the emphases? Come find out what MCB is all about at MCBcDNA's Emphasis
Night on *Thursday, September 15 from 7-9 pm in 109 Dwinelle*! We will
present a panel of guest speakers, including MCB professors and
advisors, each representing one of the five emphases: BMB, GGD, CDB,
Immunology, and Neurobiology. This is a great chance for you to learn
about the different emphases within the major and to meet MCB faculty
and students. All are welcome to attend. Free food will be provided!

*Berkeley Scientific Journal Meeting, Thursday, September 8, 7-8 pm*
Hi BSJ members!
We hope you are enjoying your first week of classes! You are receiving
this email because you expressed interest in joining BSJ either last
year or this year. Our first general meeting will be held on *Thursday,
Sept. 8* in *79 Dwinelle *from *7:00-8:00pm.* Our first meeting is a
great way to meet new people and learn more about what aspect of the
journal you can get involved with. The respective chairs of the
interviews, features, research, and design committees will be present to
answer specific questions you may have.
If you are interested in submitting a research article to be published
in our next journal, we are now accepting submissions. Undergraduate
researchers can submit their original work to: [email protected]
for review. We are happy to answer questions about the review and
selection process via email or in person at the general meeting.
