**UCB MEDLIFE: Medicine, Education, and Development for Low Income Families Everywhere
**
APPLICATIONS DUE THIS SATURDAY, FEB 9th

Interested in Global Health Outreach?
Work alongside amazing doctors, health workers, and volunteers working to bring sustainable health care to developing the regions of Peru, Ecuador, and Panama. MEDLIFE follows a three-pronged approach to sustainable development: Medicine, Education, and Development. MEDLIFE at Cal provides a semester long DeCal (Units that show on Transcript - P/NP) and a great alumni base to truly prepare the upcoming brigade for the work they will complete in South America.

This summer, we will be traveling to developing regions of Peru to staff Free Medical Clinics for the people of Pamplona Alta, a slum which houses 50,000+ rural, hard-working, farmers looking for work in the ever-growing city of Lima. In addition to these clinics, as a part of MEDLIFE, you will educate patients on the importance of medical examination and sanitary housing along with several other topics in public health which we discuss in the DeCal.

Applications are due this Saturday, Feb 9th at 11:59PM! You can find applications on our website http://ucbmedlife.wix.com/home.

Email us at ucbmedl...@gmail.com with any questions about the brigade applications. For more information about the program, visit our national website at: http://www.medlifeweb.org/. **
