You are invited to attend a Global Poverty & Practice Minor
Information Session!

The GPP Minor introduces students to the theoretical frameworks, methods,
and practical skills necessary to engage with global poverty and inequality
in imaginative and effective ways.

Our Information Sessions will provide an overview of the Minor and
demonstrate how students from all disciplines can benefit from it. Unless

Intern in Washington DC
UCDC sends juniors and seniors to Washington, D.C. each semester to
participate in prestigious internships and research projects for a full
semester of UCB academic credit. Students have described this experience as
life-changing and one which jump starts careers, distinguishing
participants from other graduates after college. All majors are welcome.
UCB financial aid is transferrable. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or
higher, and have junior or senior standing in the semester they plan to
attend.

A new molecular genetics and neurobiology laboratory in the UCSF Department
of Neurological Surgery and the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regeneration
Medicine and Stem Cell Research is seeking a highly self-motivated and
responsible individual for a Junior Specialist position.

A major focus of the laboratory is the study of molecular factors involved
in DNA repair processes, maintenance of genomic stability in neural stem
and progenitor cells, and the role of these factors in preventing brain
cancers.
