HIRING: Spring Math Mentors for Bridging Berkeley

Work with middle schoolers to help them understand the concepts behind the
numbers. The students are all transitioning to Common Core math which
relies on math models & flexible thinking instead of scripted
problem-solving, and most will be the first in their families to attend
college.If you are a creative thinker and ready to ask a lot of questions
(versus give one answer) then....

Time: 5-10 hrs/wk after school hours

Location: a Berkeley middle school or youth center

Pay: $12.53/hour through Work Study or volunteer
