Come participate in CalPIRGs Annual Hunger and Homelessness Awareness
Week, November 10th-16th!

All week, we will be having events to raise student awareness on hunger
and homelessness issues, as well as to help those in need. Please attend
any or all of the below events to show your support for the homeless
community, and learn more about how you can alleviate the issues of hunger and
homelessness in our community.

Wednesday, November 12th:
-Sandwich making table on Sproul from 11 AM-2 PM, and delivery from
2-3. Stop by to make a sandwich for the hungry and homeless, and help us
deliver them personally if you would like.
-Banquet at Peoples Park from 2:45 PM-4 PM. Enjoy a free meal
provided by Food, Not Bombs, and hear professors speak about current hunger
and
homelessness issues.

Thursday, November 13th:

hunger and homelessness and win awesome prizes, including a $20 gift

will be providing a free meal for students and any members of the homeless
community who wish to join us. Also at 9, members of the homeless community
will sitwith students and describe their experiences. We hope to have a
