Hello MCBers, MCBcDNA proudly presents Research Night. This is the perfect event for you to learn more about research opportunities available at Berkeley. Research Night will be held next THURSDAY, November 13th from 7-9pm in 2040 VLSB. We will have three speakers at the even: Professor Forte will speak at the event and give valuable information on the benefits of getting involved with research at Cal in addition to some insider tips about speaking with professors about finding a research position. There will also be a speaker from URAP, the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program, who will also have information about the Haas Scholars Program, Beckman, David, TGUR and other programs that provide funding for independent research. And last, but not least, we will have an independent student speaker who has found research on his own and can't wait to talk about his experience with you. Once again, Research Night will be in 2040 VLSB from 7-9 on Thursday, November 13th. For those of you first or second years out there, this event is a great opportunity for you to learn more about research. Wonderful refreshments will be provided!
