Job : QA w/ Graphics Tools Exp
Location : OR
Duration : 3+ Months
EAD, GC or CITIZEN'S ONLY
This position is still available. I made one submittal, but it was rejected
for not having enough DirectX and Direct 3D experience.
Primary Skill: SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
Other Skills: GRAPHIC CHIPSETS
Roles & Responsibilities
Graphics Tools Quality Assurance
a.. 5+ yrs experience in the software industry
b.. Graphics Performance Analyzers (GPA)
c.. Run ad hoc and regression tests on daily builds of graphics tools at the
application level.
d.. Work with development team to plan testing of new features as they become
available.
e.. Report defects in bug tracking tool, verify fixes, update defect status.
f.. Actively work with development team to identify and track resolution of
defects.
g.. Experience testing Windows application with a focus on user interface
testing
h.. Familiarity with graphics software
i.. Familiarity with DirectX / Direct 3D
j.. Excellent written communication
k.. Ability to write test scripts and write API validation code
l.. C / C++ programming
m.. Ability to thoroughly describe defects and the steps for reproduction
n.. Ability to read / write test plans and execute them
o.. Knowledge and practice of agile development process
