Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Job : EMC SMARTS Developer Location : Middletown, NJ Duration : Long Term EMC SMARTS Developers Synopsis: Lead developer is required to support significant enhancements and extensions of the EMC/SMARTS-In Charge based GFP-IP application. Work responsibilities include requirements review, detailed design, system architecture, development, unit and integration test, and Tier 3 production support. In particular, the individuals would Enhance existing and develop new network management applications, per requests from CLIENT systems engineering and Operations. Provide technical expertise in evaluating alternatives for managing the core Layer 3 network. Architect technical and operational enhancements to support the Light Speed infrastructure in the existing GFP platform. Work with peers in development, systems engineering, system test, Operations, Ruby rules writers, and production support to define, implement, and deliver new GFP-IP capabilities and enhancements to existing functionality. Specialized skills include: a.. At least 5 years experience with EMC SMARTS In-Charge development b.. Development skills in C, C++, UNIX, ksh, Perl. c.. Experience with HP OpenView, SNMP, Corba, XML and HTML. d.. Experience with IP networks, including protocols and network devices. e.. Experience with relational databases. f.. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. All development work must be fully documented g.. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. The work position requires much interaction and coordination with systems engineers, developers, system testers, and Operations in a fast-paced environment. h.. Self-starter with extremely strong initiative and 24x7 availability on an escalation basis to support the development team and production. Required Skills: The development position requires advanced knowledge in all aspects of Network Management systems development for multiple CLIENT service offers and functional domains. The individual needs to have a detailed knowledge and extensive development experience with the EMC/SMARTS InCharge application.
