Job : PROGRAM MANAGER w/ Cisco Supply Chain
Location : San Jose, CA (LOCALS ONLY)
Duration : 12+ Months
Senior Program Manager
a.. Seeking a Program Manager to work on the Supply Chain Strategy and
Deployment (SCSD) team within Mfg Operations.
b.. The SCSD team is responsible for executing Product Transitions between
our EMS and OEM/ODM partner sites, developing supply chain solutions,
introducing new build orgs in to our supply chain, performing landed cost
analysis, and running our New Business Awards process.
c.. The specific need at this time is a Product Transition PM where the
individual will work on a variety of projects transferring products to more
strategic locations within our global physical network, the role can quickly
expand to other roles within the SCSD team.
d.. The PM will be responsible for overall success of each project and
providing transparent updates to key stakeholders as well as developing and
implementing supply chain solutions across our manufacturing physical network.
The individual will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally
across all of CVCM and our EMS partners and OEM/ODM suppliers.
Responsibilities
a.. Drive and Manage Project Execution (e.g. manage resources and headcount,
track progress, identify, escalate, and resolve issues)
b.. Define and Validate Project Scope (e.g. define vision, structure, and
identify priorities)
c.. Create Project Plans and Schedules (e.g. identify key cross project
dependencies; key tasks and milestones)
d.. Manage Project Costs (e.g. estimate / forecast project funding; ensure
project is within budget)
e.. Close Projects (e.g. drive completion of projects; manage project
transition to business owner, conduct post project assessment)
f.. Manage Stakeholder Relationships (e.g. identify and engage stakeholders;
clarify expectations)
g.. Influences others to make decisions and take actions aimed at achieving
common objectives
h.. Recognize and resolve conflict as soon as it becomes apparent and
clarifies differing needs
i.. Managing multiple complex programs or projects and understands how they
are interdependent and what that means to the business
j.. Facilitating cross-functional and/or global teams
Qualifications
a.. Typically requires BA/BS/BEng or equivalent plus 7+ years of relevant
manufacturing experience. Experience managing programs and projects that are
cross-functional and global in nature.
b.. PMP Certification or equivalent or MBA preferred
Skills
a.. Demonstrates leadership qualities including: a sense of vision, ability
to motivate and inspire others, solve problems, meet deadlines, and confident.
Excellent presentation and communication skills including written, verbal, and
listening skills
b.. Extensive experience of manufacturing and supply chain management.
c.. Good overall knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain.
d.. Ability to develop solutions to complex problems which require
creativity.
e.. Self starter, self motivated: Ability to thrive in a remote setting
(immediate team, direct line manager and dotted line managers can be located in
different countries/time zones)
f.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
g.. Skilled in influencing, persuasion, and negotiation. Demonstrates ability
to influence teams to achieve shared vision and drive accountability.
h.. Ability to thrive in cross-functional environment. Ability to work well
with a variety of people from different functions and cultures and in a virtual
team setting, as well as having the flexibility to take on different
roles/responsibilities as projects evolve and change
i.. Strong leadership skills.
j.. Ability to drive initiatives from start to end, on time, within budget
and expectations
k.. Previous Cisco Supply Chain experience is highly preferred
