Title: SAP [MM/SR] functional consultant Location: NYC Duration: 6 months Client: Mphasys Job Description: Candidates must possess minimum of 4-6 years experience with SAP MM/SRM modules. Candidates with experience in implementing/supporting SAP Solutions for large to medium installations is a must. Strong experience in material sourcing, contract management, pricing, requisitioning, approval strategies, purchase orders, supplier releases and EDI is required. Excellent knowledge of purchasing master data such as material/vendor masters, info records, source lists, purchase orders, service contracts and scheduling agreements is desired. All activities would be to support the Procure to Pay business process that is implemented. Strong background in direct and indirect material receiving and an understanding of invoice processing, payment terms, accounts payable, check printing / EFT and Dunning is preferred. The candidate will be working closely with the business teams in handholding in the transition from the legacy systems to the newly implemented SAP system. Experience in helping customers with use of SAP standard reports to meet their needs is a must. Other Skills necessary include: · Must possess Excellent analytical and problem solving skills · Able to work with a diverse set of individuals · Able to run affective meetings/workshops, including ad hoc sessions. · Exceptional listening, communication, and teamwork skills. · Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment · Exposure to SAP Support with use of common service management tools would be an advantage.
