Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Job : SOA Websphere Developer Location : Sacramento, CA Duration : 6+ Months Rate : $43/hr Corp to Corp (NO FLEX) Position Title: Sr. Application Developer Description With minimal direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to architect and build SOA applications. Prepare project design documentation from which new application systems will be developed. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Design, code, test, debug and document those programs. Provide support to business partners in their information needs. May act as mentor and/or technical resource to other team members. Interact and effectively communicate with business partners and other IT staff. Act as an information resource by providing assistance, direction and support to team members. Provide status reports for assigned projects and document change requests. Required Skills: a.. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. b.. Strong Working Knowledge of Java/ J2EE c.. Experience with developing SOA Services using Websphere d.. Knowledge of MDA design and development practices e.. Ability to develop web based applications using JSP/Struts or JSF frameworks f.. Understanding of Relational and Dimensional database structures g.. Working knowledge of SQL and Shell Scripting h.. Experience with source/version control solutions and automated deployment tools preferred. i.. Ability to work closely with business partners to determine data requirements j.. Ability to perform as a major programming and analysis resource on a project team. k.. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. l.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. m.. Proficient with standard office software applications. n.. Ability to provide on-call production support as needed. o..
