Analyze, design, build and test EDI changes for one or more of the following functional interfaces: Provider, Member, Health Care Encounter, and Encounter Response. ? Work closely with business analysts to understand business and functional requirements and ensure application development meets those requirements. ? Work closely with application architects to ensure application development meets technical requirements and adheres to architecture standards. ? Produce high-quality documentation that is accurate and consistent with current project standards. ? Identify, escalate, and manage project issues and risks in a timely manner. Skills: Required: ? Minimum 3-5 years of full life-cycle Java application development experience. ? Experience developing service-oriented architecture using Java-based web services. ? Experience with the following technologies: Java EE5, EJB3, JPA, BPEL, Axis or JAX-WS web services. ? Experience with the following development tools: SoapUI, Java CAPS 6.x, Netbeans 6.X, XMLSpy. ? Experience with automated build and test processes using Ant, CruiseControl, and Junit. ? Experience with one of the following HIPAA X12 standard formats: 270, 276, 277, 278, 835, 837P, 837D, and 837I. ? Testing and configuration management tools such as Test Director, Subversion, Team Foundation Server, or Serena. ?
