Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Role: Senior Business Analyst Number of Positions -- 1 Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 3+ months OVERVIEW: The position is focused on analyzing the upcoming Dodd-Frank regulations for the client and assessing the impact those regulation changes will have on the client (overall, specific departments). The BA will be on a three person team consisting of a Solution Architect, Program Manager and the BA who owns the needs assessment work. The BA work is going to be ambiguous, and the BA will need to be comfortable with driving order from that chaos. The BA needs to be incredibly sharp, and needs to be able to deal with complexity from a geography, organization, and content perspective. The BA will be responsible for analyzing the proposed legislation, working out the possible and probable implications to the end-client from a reporting, governance, and record keeping perspective, and then looking at the end-client's processes, data (and data quality), and systems to write up the requirements that end-client will need to address once the legislation becomes a reality. The BA is also expected to look at existing processes and capabilities in place as a result of existing regulations and to find overlaps and potential efficiencies in the existing environment that could be leveraged to address Dodd-Frank. In order to complete the analysis, the BA will need to build a package that summarizes their analysis for each group within the end-client. The BA will then be responsible for driving each department to respond to the package with a response that includes their system capabilities and latencies and gaps in their systems, data, and processes. The BA will own maintenance of this package including compiling feedback from all groups and will be responsible for working with the solution architect to identify the gaps that may require system remediation.
