DESCRIPTION: A client of LEVERAGEncy (Clarity) is using nzload processes to copy data from legacy oracle databases to netezza (NZ) databases. They are in the process of converting all of the Informatica jobs to nzsql. This is being done by writing complex nzsql scripts to reproduce the Informatica logic in nzsql. In addition, they have several processes which use data provided by external vendors, which they then use nzload to load into their netezza databases. Given this approach they are NOT using the Netezza adaptor for Informatica to coordinate all of this work via an Informatica mapping. So candidates' that ONLY have NZ experience limited to using NZ tables as a source or target in an Informatica mapping won't be a solid fit.
