The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of e-mail compliance archiving systems, Exchange 2007/2010, and knowledge of 3rd party collaboration tools. The individual should be able to design, deploy, administer, monitor and troubleshoot complex messaging environments in accordance with industry accepted Best Practices. Candidates should have experience working in a large corporate environment, greater than 20,000 mailboxes, where the team must administer systems to known corporate policies regarding security, audit, and change control processes. Must have an ability to create engineering documentation for use by Operations counterparts and create high-quality artifacts required by change control processes, security and the project team. Candidates must be able to perform research, evaluation and documentation duties on hardware, applications, operating systems and data network problems for both individual users and server/LAN environments. This individual will serve as an escalation point for the production support staff and respond to support questions from less experienced staff. Functional Area: Email Compliance and Fax Engineering Skills Required: a.. At least 3+ years' experience in engineering-level responsibility of compliance archiving systems. ZL Unified Archive Discovery and Compliance is preferred. Experience with CA Message Manager, Assentor, Autonomy Message Manager, Enterprise Vault, Zantaz and other e-mail compliance systems considered. b.. At least 3+ years expert-level experience with Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 in an environment with at least 20,000 mailboxes c.. At least 3+ years' experience in supporting large scalable, mission critical messaging environments d.. At least 3+ years of experience with analyzing logs and determining database maintenance e.. Ability to meet corporate audit and security standards f.. Excellent verbal and written communication skills g.. Great team and vendor relations skills h.. Exposure to formal project management methodology and professional experience related to information technology projects i.. Understanding of electronic communications regulatory concepts for banks and broker/dealers j.. Working knowledge of 3rd party collaboration tools such as Blackberry, iPhone, Bloomberg, Reuters, fax, and IM k.. Understanding of WORM storage required for legal archive l..
