* * * * *Senior Data Warehouse Designer**/Developer (Long Term Contract)* *Auburn Hills**, MI*** *7 months* * * * * Reports to Enterprise Data Management Team and Senior Data Warehouse Designer role is responsible for designing new data solutions to improve the performance and scalability of existing ETL code base. • Designing and developing ETL code within Informatica Powercenter v8.6 to improve reusability of existing code base. • Understanding of Data Warehouse and Master Data Architecture and Infrastructure • Experience in operational transformations and support • Developing and supporting XML based data processing • Providing technical knowledge in designing ETL solutions using Informatica to meet client needs • Understanding configuration dependencies and interrelationships between Informatica and other data sources & designs, and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge • Developing new Informatica mappings and workflows based on ETL standards and specifications • Participating in the design of new or changing mappings and workflows and produce technical specifications • Participating in performance, load and scalability test planning and testing for a designated project or application. Developing, implementing and maintaining unit tests for applications • Participating in problem solving and troubleshooting for the applications implemented with Informatica • Documenting all new and modified mappings according to standards as part of the Data Operations documentation • Production support and on-call responsibility for nightly processing including weekends and holidays • Knowledge of data quality, data services, web services and CDC is required *Skills Required: • Expertise in ETL architecture and development, data warehousing space • Expertise in Informatica performance tuning on Informatica 8.6 environment • Creation of complex parallel loads and dependency creation using work flows • Data modeling and data mapping design experience • Familiar with Perl Scripting • Knowledge of information flow, content issues, and transformation of business requirements into Informatica Mappings • Very Strong Oracle (10/11g) database development skill • TOAD, SQL Navigator or similar tool • Demonstrated technical design skills Unique Competencies: • 5 years experience in Informatica PowerCenter v8.6 tools architecture and design • 5 years experience in ETL development and design * -- Thanks & Regards Chandra Prakash Maheshwari Technical Recruiter Hevar Systems Inc. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
