Person will be responsible for supporting many development teams from mainframe 
to SAP who are new to UML modeling to include modeling as part of lifecycle 
phases. 


Skills to have:

SAP, Mainframe COBOL, C++, Java-based technologies, .Net-based technologies


Qualifications: 

Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence 
in the IT organization's knowledge of and concern for customer requirements. 
Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability to create original 
concepts/theories for a variety of projects. Project planning and management 
including scope of work, time estimation, and resource assignment. Solid 
teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well on cross-functional 
project teams and foster team commitment to tasks. Comprehensive knowledge of 
problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques. 
Familiar with project management techniques and development life cycle. Ability 
to lead special projects. Architect must have good coaching skills. Strong 
verbal and written communication skills. Application modeling skills, UML 
modeling, and an understanding of architecture process.    


Responsibilities: 

Provides technical guidance or business process expertise to highly complicated 
projects. Performs technology research, proof of concepts, and pilots. 
Identifies problem causes and implement solutions in multifunctional projects. 
Assesses and communicate technology impacts on the business. Provides technical 
expertise and consultation in analysis, design, and development of business 
applications Integrate activities across IT departments to ensure successful 
implementation and support of project efforts. Performs software evaluations 
and make recommendations to management. Collects and analyzes business 
requirements for large, multifunctional projects. Performs feasibility studies 
and translates requirements into appropriate design. Identifies conflicting 
business practices and integration issues and suggest alternative solutions. 
Creates architecture views and models to describe solutions.
