Experience with lab implementation and testing in our Herndon lab to validate the operation of the proposed high level architecture. Then design, implement, and document the aggregation and control infrastructure of the Wi-Fi environment. Implement, integrate, and test the Wi-Fi production solution end to end our back-office and APs vendors. 1. Experience with Cisco ASR platform, ISG and hand on with Layer 2 experience. 2. Experience with end to end integration testing of architecture and design of WIFI network or basic end to end integration testing ( lab setting) 3. Experience with testing of calls flows ,validation and reporting 4. Experience with writing and executing test plans to support network validation and verification ( core network ) 5. Services Integration - End-to-End Bearer Plane . Project As-Built Documentation Position 2: Multi vendor Wi-Fi RF design engineer. ( need two candidates) Job Description . RF planning and design for Outdoor and indoor Wi-FI network . Link Budget calculation for different bearer services, Frequency planning, antenna selection, interference analysis using RF planning tools for sites planned as per the RF design. . Support the nominal planning, candidate selection and site surveys up to site acceptance . Calculate and determine network impact for coverage and capacity expansions . Capturing traffic and coverage needs as per the requirements with given QoS. . Providing Engineering Support & Product Support to implementation team . Evaluate (drive) test data to identify performance areas . Recommend RF solutions and carrying out changes to improve network performance . Should be able guide regional teams with corporate design objectives. . Support RF system introduction process . Should have good knowledge of various governmental regulation Requirements: . Bachelor degree (technical/telecommunications) . A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in the RF planning field . Specialized in Indoor and outdoor RF Planning and Optimization . Familiar with RF planning and roll-out process . Experiences in RF hardware configurations and system updates / upgrades . Knowledge of using tools e.g. Atoll, Mapinfo, LANPlanner, MeshPlanner etc . Strong analytical skills to determine radio network impact in changing environments . Works independent, but is also a team player . Responsible, Service minded, flexible, taking initiatives . Result oriented and customer focused . Process oriented and quality driven Position 3: Wi-Fi AP test engineer (need two candidates) Requirements . Minimum 5 years of Wireless network engineering, testing, network design, software, or systems test resulting in the successful delivery of quality WiFi products. . Experience with 802.11 a/b/g/n, WiFi certification, RF indoor propagation and antenna characterization experience is a plus. . Experience with LAN switching, Routing protocols, TCP/IP, IGMP, QoS. . Experience with wireless networking tools VeriWave, Chariot, any traffic generators, wireless monitors, AP-tester. . Familiar with network protocol layers and how they interact and how to use network analyzers such as Sniffer, EtherPeek, EtherReal, OmniPeek. . Any exposure to ISP mobile network, in particular back-end AAA, Radius accounting. . Experience with 3G and 4G radio networks, cellular packet network would be very useful. . Experience with Python, TCL-TK, embedded Linux scripting. . Be able to communicate, verbally and in written form, with team members and co-workers. . Be able to write clear procedures, bug descriptions and test reports. Qualifications . Bachelors degree (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, etc.) . 5-6 years experience designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging and administering some of the following: Wireless LAN products and technologies, Wireless Access Points (LWAPP a plus), Wireless Client Associations, Wireless Controllers. . Deep knowledge of 802.11 protocol both at the physical and MAC layer. Solid working experience with 802.11a/b/g/i standards and knowledge of 802.11n . Experience with rate adaptation algorithms, datapath queuing systems, MIMO systems . WiFi product development using industry leading WiFi chipsets . Good understanding of OFDM and associate modulation schemes . Familiar with current wireless physical and MAC layer test tools and methodologies . Strong IP networking protocol knowledge. . Knowledge of 802.1Q Trunking, 802.1x, WPA WPA 2 . Understanding of RF transmissions & antenna behavior . WLAN Security in the areas of authentication, encryption, RADIUS, AAA authentication, EAP, PSK, etc . Linux system administration and configuration experience. . Solid understanding of TCP/IP, IGMP, and Routing (Layer 2 & 3 communication) . The following Certifications would be a plus: CWNA, CWSP, CWNE .
