Assist IT business analysts with taking and/ or clarifying requirements from the customer for a new development as required . Provide feasibility analysis and effort estimates for requested development work . Support our deployed Lotus Notes databases and applications . Complete defect resolution in a timely manner . Design, program and perform testing of developed code . Assist business customers and IT business analysts with testing of Lotus Notes development as required . Complete required documentation . Conduct peer reviews of technical objects changed/developed . Provide accurate status reporting in our incident and development tracking systems in a timely manner. Required skills: . Proficient in Lotus Notes application development . Expert understanding of Lotus Notes concepts (like Forms, Views, Agents) . Expert understanding of software/ database design techniques . Proven track record of recently successfully accomplished development projects . Ability to conduct analysis of technical application issues . Proficient in client-side web-development technologies . HTML . JavaScript . ExtJS, JQuery . Must have strong process-oriented thinking as well having analytical and problem-solving skills . Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly. . Quickly understand the business process the applications are covering and, for new systems, are supposed to cover . Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language .
