Join existing datacenter automation team in engineering automation solutions using HPSA and Red Hat Linux. Candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a focus of customer needs. Engineer will work daily with automation team ensuring high quality service in our coordination, communication and execution across multiple lines of business consuming automation services. Due to the complexity of the environment and distributed customer base, off-hours and on-call is required. The automation team is offering a position in the support and Engineering of HP Server Automation and HP Operations Orchestrator. The Ideal candidate will have experience with HPSA Infrastructure and good scripting skills (HPOO development is a plus). A foundation in UNIX/Linux is required. Solid experience is required in analysis, requirements gathering, design, integration/acceptance, etc. Must have experience in automation, whether Autosys, BladeLogic, Tivoli, OpsWare or HPSA. Foundation must contain network protocol familiarity, infrastructure topology & architecture, distribution, scaling, virtualization and system engineering. As an absolute minimum candidate must be able to read, and write shell scripts & utilities from scratch. Any shell is fine but user need not apply if they are not fully fluent in shell scripting. Platform is 100% Oracle SQL driven, experience to Oracle SQL Developer and SQL is a big plus.
