Demonstrated experience in verification and validation process, review and audit processes. d.. Experience in providing oversight in an outsourcing environment e.. Proven ability to participate in, and contribute simultaneously to, multiple work streams and across a diverse and virtual team. What we are looking for in a new QA Lead: a.. Very strong with TFS, VSTS, QC, Microsoft testing tools experience. Not having a lot of 2010 experience should not be a disqualifier. VSTS (predecessor of VS2010) experience is very possible. A very useful skill would be experience to MTM (Microsoft test manager - new with VS2010). Sharepoint experience is a very nice to have but we will train. b.. Core Technical Requirement: Should be able to read C# fluently. Specifically: NUnit tests, Coded UI tests, Web performance testing in a .NET environment. We are a .Net shop. c.. Ability to identify code coverage gaps and create appropriate Unit tests in C# is a definite plus. d.. A few years of experience as a developer (a while ago) might be a good way to prove that this person is comfortable with C# code in .NET. e.. Strong experience running System, Regression, Acceptance, Functional and Performance testing. f.. Strong experience in full SDLC. We are using a modified Waterfall approach - we are looking for people who are comfortable with Waterfall and RUP. g.. Must have worked on a true data migration project. We do not consider the upgrade of an Oracle database to be true data migration although I have lost count of how many people site this as a data migration. It isn't. It's an upgrade. A data migration is, e.g. Legacy System to modern DB - Migration of ERP systems from one to another to another (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) e.g. PeopleSoft to SAS, Oracle business suites to SAP, etc. Automation experience is important to have but we are not looking for an automation expert.
