Position: Active Directory and Exchange Consultant
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Duration: 4 months (possible extension up to a year or more)
Job Description:
Design, manage, and configure Microsoft Active Directory, MS Exchange 2010
Enterprise Email, and MS OCS/Lync Unified Communications solutions. Candidate
MUST have experience with design of Active Directory, Messaging, and Unified
Communications, in a large organization. Candidates should be well versed in
scripting technologies specifically with Active Directory automation
experience, Powershell and VBScript. History of new technology exploration
through industry research and/or conference attendance. . Needs to be able to
work with other teams collaboratively to design solutions to customer requests
and resolve issues in a timely fashion to meet customer SLAs. Ability to
document work and the environment necessary for internal and customer
communication. Position will require some On Call work.
Skill Set:
a.. 5+ years of experience in systems/server/network administration in a
Windows/Linux environment
b.. Must possess hands-on experience implementing, maintaining,
administering, and upgrading/migrating all of the following:
a.. Microsoft Active Directory
b.. Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010
c.. Windows Servers 2000, 2003 and 2008
a.. Practical knowledge and a large experience of infrastructure services
delivery techniques
b.. Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture concepts and best practices
c.. Ability to organize issues and prioritize in a fast paced environment
with hard deadlines Requirements:

a.. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2010, Lync/OCS
b.. Strong technical documentation skills and a willingness to use them
c.. Familiarity with HealthCare IT vertical
d.. Familiarity with Unified Communications Technologies
e.. Ability to understand and troubleshoot network issues involving DNS,
TCP/IP routing, VPN, etc.
f.. Server hardware support, troubleshooting, and capacity planning
