Position Title UI/UX Developer
Specific responsibilities include:
a.. Fulfill assigned application and project development tasks in a timely
manner and according to specification
b.. Perform problem analysis
c.. Estimate development tasks
d.. Follow established practices and processes
e.. Respond to assigned issues and action items appropriately and in a timely
manner
f.. Provide timely resolution of QA and UAT defects
Experience Required:
a.. Demonstrated ability to create complex web user interfaces for ecommerce
applications and social media sites using the following languages and
technologies:
a.. j query
b.. XHTML and CSS
c.. XML and XSLT
d.. AJAX
e.. JavaScript
f.. C# / .Net
g.. MVC 3 (MVC.Net or similar)
b.. Knowledge of the user-centered design process, information architecture,
and usability principles
c.. Strong knowledge of web standards and semantic coding practices
d.. Understanding of performance engineering principles
e.. Minimum 4 years professional software development experience
f.. Page optimization techniques
g.. Cross browser/cross platform compatibility
h.. Experience with graphics editing software like Adobe Photoshop
i.. Development using Agile development methodologies
j.. Development for and testing against multiple browser, multiple platform
environments
k.. Prior experience building web sites in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
(MOSS) or other enterprise class content management system (CMS)
l.. Development environments such as Microsoft Team Foundation, Visual
Studio, etc.
