*Middleware Developer Alpharetta - GA 1 year contract Max Rate : $45/hr on C2C or 1099.* *Explanation for Position:* Currently seeking a Middleware Developer who will be responsible for building and maintaining software implemented in Perl, shell script (KSH), and basic html. There is active new development as well as maintenance coding required for all of the languages. This environment runs on Linux based systems. Position requires collaboration with customers, engineers, internal application groups and project managers to perform the Analysis, Design coding, and deployment phases. Position also requires documentation & presentation of solutions/architecture to management, peers & collaborating groups. *Details of Position:* The successful candidate should have strong LINUX experience in both shell script and Perl, as well as knowledge of ftp, SFTP, andFTPS. Understanding of IBM MQseries, XML, and JMS are a plus. This candidate must have good leadership skills. Any experience with ANSI X12 EDI will be a plus. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of Perl, shell scripting in KSH, AS2, JMS, MQ Series, SSH, SFTP, FTPS, FuseSource and other middleware technologies. Excellent documentation skills are a must. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required. Demonstrates leadership in technology in all aspects of assigned projects and recommends solutions. Candidate should have basic knowledge of different types of EDI *Management Skills:* standards, ANSI X12, EDIFACT in addition to multiple types of data formats. Also must possess the following: Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, leadership skills Ability to work independently, and be able to multi-task.
